Justin Timberlake let everyone know that just because his new album title is “Man of the Woods,” it doesn’t mean it’s a country album. He posted a video on social media say that the album was actually named after his son, Silas.
Timberlake said, “His name means, ‘of the woods,’ so stop telling me I’m making a country album.”
In another video, Timberlake called Chris Stapleton a “true artists” and said their collaboration on “Say Something” reminded him of the Eagles or the Allman Brothers.
He also revealed how the writing of “Say Something” with Chris Stapleton went down.
JT said,“Chris asked me. ‘What do you want to write about?’ I said, ‘Honestly, I want to say something, but I just don’t want to get caught up in the rhythm of it.’ And we just looked at each other, and he was like, ‘Hold on, let me get my pad.’ Sometimes when someone doesn’t say anything, you know what they mean.”“
Man of the Woods” will be out tomorrow.
