World famous producer and DJ Avicii was found dead while on vacation in Muscat, Oman on Friday. He was 28.
Avicii was seen hanging out on a yacht with friends looking happy and healthy the day before he died.
Two autopsies were performed over the weekend, and according to the police in Oman, Avicii’s death was not the result of any criminal activity or foul play. The police didn’t offer up a cause of death.
Avicii’s family arrived in Oman to take his body back to Sweden. His brother is staying in Oman to search for answers on how he died.
Avicii's hits include "Wake Me Up!" ''The Days," and "You Make Me.” He won two MTV Music Awards, one Billboard Music Award, and earned two Grammy nominations. His death comes just days after he was nominated for a Billboard Music Award for top dance/electronic album for his EP Avicii (01).
