Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got married Saturday at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, near London.

Some highlights:

Facing his bride-to-be at the altar, Harry was seen telling her, "You look amazing. I'm so lucky." He was also cheeky enough to say what looks like, "I'm sh--ing it"—a video clip that went viral.

Reverend Michael Bruce Curry of Chicago gave an electrifying sermon at the ceremony. "There’s power in love," he said. "Do not underestimate it. Anyone who has ever fallen in love, knows what I mean. But think about love in any form or experience of it. It actually feels good to be loved, and to express love. There is something right about it. And there’s a reason."

Meghan and Harry tore up a nearly 30-year royal tradition of royal couples having their first married smooch on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Instead, they stole one on the steps of St. George's Chapel right after the wedding. Then they greeted "adoring onlookers" on a 25-minute carriage trip through Windsor.

Harry broke yet another rule by keeping his beard while wearing his Royal Marines uniform. "According to Kensington Palace, he got the go-ahead to wear the uniform from the Queen herself."

Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, watched his daughter walk down the aisle on television. He told TMZ, "My baby looks beautiful and she looks very happy. I wish I were there and I wish them all my love and all happiness."

At the evening reception, for which Meghan wore a gorgeous Stella McCartney dress, she gave a speech.  William, we're told, gave a "naughty" speech, James Corden refereed a "dance off" of sorts between William, Harry and Prince Charles, and the couple chose Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" as their first dance!

The wedding celebrations ended with a black-tie dinner and fireworks display at Frogmore House, near Windsor Castle.

Two hundred of Meghan and Harry's closest friends and family attended the event held by Prince Charles.

The couple were not expected to leave for their honeymoon immediately, choosing instead to remain in the UK and celebrate Charles' 70th birthday first.

As a wedding gift Prince Harry gave his bride an emerald-cut aquamarine ring which had belonged to his late mother - Diana, Princess of Wales.

Tomorrow (Tuesday), Meghan will attend her first royal garden party in the grounds of Buckingham Palace when the couple attend a 70th birthday patronage celebration for the Prince of Wales. This will be their first official engagement as man and wife.

Some of the celebrities who attended Saturday's festivities: George Clooney and wife Amal; David Beckham and his fashion designer wife, Victoria; Actor Tom Hardy and his actress wife Charlotte Riley; Elton John and  David Furnish; Singer James Blunt and his fiancee Sofia Wellesley; Oprah Winfrey; Singer Joss Stone; Actor Idris Elba and his model fiancee Sabrina Dhowre; Actress Carey Mulligan and her singer husband Marcus Mumford; Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian, and "Suits" actors Patrick Adams,  Sarah Rafferty, Gabriel Macht, Gina Torres, Abigail Spencer, and Rick Hoffman.
