Netflix announced Wednesday that it has renewed teen drama series “13 Reasons Why” for a third season, with production to begin later this year.
The news comes just weeks after the debut of the series’ second season, as well as star Katherine Langford’s confirmation that she will not be returning to the show. (She played Hannah for the first two seasons.)
Nielsen reported that the Season 2 premiere of “13 Reasons Why” garnered 6 million viewers in its first three days of release.
Season 3 will feature 13 episodes and is scheduled for release in 2019.
