It's not often you hear a celebrity proudly talk about her FUPA. But Beyoncé is doing just that.
There have been a ton of pregnancy rumors about her lately. BUT, in the September issue of Vogue, Beyoncé keeps it real about her body image, talking about the pressures to snap back to her pre-pregnancy body after giving birth to Blue Ivy.
She said, "I believed in the things society said about how my body should look. I put pressure on myself to lose all the baby weight in three months, and scheduled a small tour to assure I would do it. Looking back, that was crazy."
When it came time to give birth to twins Rumi and Sir, she had a much different outlook, due in part to the health issues that came with her second pregnancy. She said she was 218 pounds right before she gave birth, she battled toxemia and a slew of other things and she said all of THAT really changed how she viewed her body after the delivery … She "embraced being curvier.”
Even now, she's got nothing but pride for her fuller figure, getting real as ever as she explained, "I have a little mommy pouch, and I'm in no rush to get rid of it. But right now, my little FUPA and I feel like we are meant to be."
