Tom Arnold is claiming that "The Apprentice" producer Mark Burnett "went apes--t and choked" him last night at the Evening Before Emmy fundraising party.
Allegedly, an altercation involving both men occurred around 9:30PM as they were walking into the event.
Tom Arnold tweeted: "Mark Burnett just went apes--t and choked me at this huge Emmy party [and] then he ran away."
Burnett has not responded to the situation, but his wife Roma Downey, who was with him at the event Sunday night, tweeted a photo of a bruise on her hand she alleges came from Tom when he "ambushed" her and her husband. Her tweet came 15 minutes after Arnold's.
She wrote, "Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event. Is your TV show worth it Tom? Please stop."
Arnold responded to this, tweeting, "Bulls--t. You lie your crazy husband attacked me you psycho. I’m filing police report and suing you for defamation."
The LAPD had not yet commented, but Arnold's lawyer Marty Singer claims that Burnett "attacked" Arnold.
Tom Arnold is hosting an upcoming Vice show entitled "The Hunt for the Trump Tapes," which premieres tomorrow (Tuesday). He claims that Burnett has and is holding back "Apprentice" tapes of Donald Trump using racial slurs and saying other offensive things. FYI: Arnold was a contestant on the show. Both Burnett and Trump have denied the existence of any such tapes.
