Pete Davidson’s cry for help is perhaps the biggest story from the weekend: If you missed it, the “Saturday Night Live” star shared a troubling message on Instagram that said: "i really don't want to be on this earth anymore. i'm doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don't know how much longer i can last. all i've ever tried to do was help people. just remember i told you so." He followed the words with a heart emoji. The Instagram account was later deleted.
People felt Pete’s message seems to be a cry for help. The New York Police Department received multiple calls from fans worried about Pete, so they sent cops out to find him to do a welfare check.
Ariana Grande even showed up to Pete’s “SNL” office at 30 Rock and tweeted, “I’m downstairs and I’m not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything. I know you have everyone you need and that’s not me, but I’m here too.”
Pete DID make an appearance that evening, although it was very brief.
