R. Kelly’s record label is putting his new music on hold until the dust settles after “Surviving R. Kelly.”

Sources say RCA/Sony will not produce any of R. Kelly’s new music, they will not put money behind any of his projects and they will not release any additional music until there criminal investigations in Georgia and other cases resolve.

R. Kelly is angry because he’s been in the studio recording new music to fulfill the obligations under his RCA contract, which requires two new albums. He's especially annoyed RCA/Sony won't provide money for music videos.

If RCA/Sony formally walk away from him now without any criminal charges to justify ending the contract, they could be sued.
