Ed Sheeran wants to release an all-male version of the song “Lady Marmalade”, saying that idea is what inspired his upcoming album “No. 6 Collaborations Project.”
The new album features numerous collabs, but Ed says he’s always wanted to collaborate with men for a “Lady Marmalade” remake.
He said,“This project actually started with one idea I had which was – you remember ‘Lady Marmalade’ right? This is such a silly idea. I had an idea of doing that, like you could get Bruno [Mars], [Justin] Bieber and me on a record. How fun would that be?”
FYI: The track does not appear on the new album, but plenty of other collaborations do.
