Kanye West’s new album “Jesus Is King” has debuted at #1 on the Billboard 100 albums chart. It’s his record-tying 9th consecutive debut at #1, matching Eminem’s still-active streak for the longest in the chart’s history.
With a ninth #1 on the Billboard 200, West ties 5 other acts for the 6th most #1s in the history of the chart, as he now stands alongside Garth Brooks, Drake, Eminem, Madonna and the Rolling Stones. Ahead of all of them are the Beatles with a record 19 #1s, Jay-Z with 14; Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand with 11 each, and Elvis Presley with 10.
