The two correctional officers responsible for guarding accused pedophile Jeffrey Epstein the night he died have been charged with falsifying prison records.
A grand jury indictment accused the 2 guards of failing to perform checks on Epstein every half hour, as required, and of fabricating log entries to show they had. They were sleeping and shopping online for furniture and motorcycles.
The officers have been placed on administrative leave while the FBI and the Justice Department's inspector general investigate the circumstances surrounding Epstein's death. Was it suicide ... or was it murder?!
The two guards have pled not guilty to falsifying records and were released on $100,000 bail.
