Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s bodyguard was spotted holding bottles of the rapper’s own brand of champagne, Ace of Spades, at the Golden Globes last night.
LA Times reporter Amy Kaufman noted on Twitter, “They’re waiting until Kate McKinnon finishes speaking to take their seats.”
She added, “Is their bodyguard carrying bottles of alc for them?”
Sure enough, in the photo, the guard can be seen holding two bottles behind his back, despite one of the official sponsors of the evening being Moët & Chandon.
The couple was also reportedly an hour late to the show. (Beyoncé was nominated for best original song for “The Lion King,” but lost to Elton John and Bernie Taupin.)
