On yesterday’s “Live With Kelly & Ryan,” Kelly Ripa revealed that she quit drinking alcohol.
The duo was talking about a drop in wine sales in 2019 and she said, “They're saying that Americans bought less wine last year. It's the first drop in a quarter of a century. Now, I believe this is because I quit drinking, that I caused this dip. I have influenced the market. I'm not saying I've driven people out of drinking alcohol, I'm saying I stopped buying wine and there's a … dip.”
Seacrest, who became her co-host in 2017, chimed in and said, “I started the show and she quit drinking. What does that tell you?”
Kelly didn't further explain why she chose to stop drinking a few years ago, but some are speculating some minor health issues may be the reason.
