Was the "GMA" Backstreet Boys Proposal a FAKE STUNT?!

2018 iHeartRadio Wango Tango By AT&T - Show

A young New York couple got engaged on “Good Morning America” yesterday (Tuesday) morning, while the Backstreet Boys were performing.

But, according to a tipster: “The two have been engaged for over two years."

The pair also got some press last time they got engaged, that time at a 2017 Christmas tree lighting ceremony hosted by Brooklyn Democrat bigwig Frank Seddio.

Yesterday, the BSB brought Consolo, who’d been in a small studio audience, onto the stage as they sang ballad, “I’ll Never Break Your Heart.” Then a panel moved revealing Diamond, who dropped to one knee.

A source says that Consolo said she and Diamond broke up in May 2019. But the insider says that if they did break up, the pair were clearly engaged again by November, well before Tuesday’s stunt. In fact, they say Consolo said in November that she’d just ordered her save-the-date cards.

According to a wedding Website on The Knot, lawyer Consolo appears to be something of a Backstreet Boys superfan, and even dreamed online about having the band perform at their wedding, which was scheduled for this year.

Diamond even used the same engagement ring to pop the question!!!

The whole thing appears to have come about because a Backstreet Boys Facebook group posted an ad from “GMA” saying, “Love is in the air! Are you ready to pop the question? We’re looking for a couple looking to get engaged LIVE on @GMA on 2/11!”

The “GMA” posting didn’t mention the Backstreet Boys, but the fan group said the proposal would be “with the assistance of our fave five.”
