DaBaby assaulted a fan Saturday night as he made his way to the stage, and the crowd was NOT HAPPY about it.
DaBaby was performing in Tampa for his tour when a woman waved her phone in his direction, possible to get a picture. That's when DaBaby viciously slapped her in the face.
People at the concert started booing him. DaBaby and his crew left without performing a single song.
Cops showed up, but no arrests were made.
Cops say the woman told them that DaBaby got the wrong person when he smacked her, because she explained it was the woman next to her who had hit DaBaby first, but received none of the retaliation.
DaBaby claims he thought the woman was a dude and couldn’t tell the difference because she was shining a light on his face at incredibly close range. He said it was wrong and that having flashing lights in your face is part of the business and something he signed up for when he got in the game.
He is also willing to apologize and talk privately to the woman to make things right by whatever means necessary.
The woman who DaBaby slapped has lawyered up ... and is ready to talk.
