Television Academy Hosts Cocktail Reception To Celebrate Daytime Programming Peer Group

Comedic actor Fred Willard has died. He was 86.

In a statement Saturday, his daughter said that her dad died peacefully Friday night. The cause of his death has not been released.

Willard was known for his comedic roles in numerous movies, such as “Best in Show,” the “Anchorman” films and "A Mighty Wind," as well as TV shows, like “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “Modern Family” and “Roseanne.”
