Gleb Savchenko is shooting down rumors that his relationship with his “Dancing with the Stars” partner Chrishell Stause is the reasons he and his wife split.
The dance pro announced on Friday that he and his wife Elena Samodanova were separating after 14-years of marriage.
Rumors started to fly that the reason for the split was due to his relationship with Chrishell.
But Savchenko said he and Stause have a “strictly platonic” relationship and it wasn’t the reason for the breakup.
Chrishell took to social media to shoot down rumors that she was having an affair with her Gleb, writing:
"I am so saddened about the news of Gleb and Elena's split. It is unfortunate that this has caused rumors to swirl about my personal life."
Referencing her own break up with Justin Hartley last November she added, "Having gone through a public split myself, I would not wish this on anyone. As you can imagine, the countless hours of training, and dance rehearsals has created a strong supportive friendship, but nothing more. I wish nothing but the best for both Gleb and Elena during this unfortunate time."
