Britney Spears' relationship with her dad, James Spears, is being put under the microscope in the new documentary ”Framing Britney,” which premieres on February 5th.
The documentary dives into Brit's career highs and lows, as well as her unusual conservatorship situation.
Since 2008, her dad has been her conservator. James has control all of Britney's financial assets and has final say in many of her personal decisions, such as whether or not she gets married. A judge extended the conservatorship to September 2021.
The legal battle has sparked the "Free Britney" movement.
The documentary will also explore how the public turned on Britney during her mental health crisis.
