Ever since DaBaby made those homophobic comments at Rolling Loud Miami, he’s been answering calls from a number of a number of HIV organizations to get educated on HIV.
The rapper met with 9 different groups to discuss HIV and hear personal stories of people who are living with HIV.
Organizations had sent him a letter earlier this month "to call him in instead of calling him out" and have a thoughtful conversation about his recent comments.
According to the organizations, DaBaby was "genuinely engaged" in the meeting. He even apologized for what he called his inaccurate and hurtful comments about HIV and the impact it had on black and LGBTQ+ communities.
The meeting included the Southern AIDS Coalition, Black AIDS Institute, GLAAD, Positive Women's Network, Transinclusive Group and a handful of others.
