Mike Richards is not only out of his hosting gig over at "Jeopardy!", he’s out completely. He’s no longer the executive producer of that show AND "Wheel of Fortune" after those controversial comments he’d made in the past on a podcast.
An executive for Sony, which owns "Jeopardy!", wrote a memo saying the company had hoped that having Richards step down as host would end the controversy, but "that clearly has not happened.”
The memo from Sony brass explains that Richards won't be the executive producer of either "Jeopardy!" or "Wheel" anymore.
