Britney Spears' ex-husband Jason Alexander was arrested Sunday at a Nashville airport.
Jason was Britney's childhood friend and first husband (for 55 hours!) in 2004.
He was arrested for a misdemeanor attempted air security violation. His bail was set at $2,500, and he is due back in court on Sept. 24.
The 39-year-old addressed his arrest on Instagram Live on Tuesday, calling it an "inconvenience."
He said, "You end up in handcuffs for something stupid. The media and police are not your friends."
He continued to subtly discuss the incident, saying he "did nothing wrong."
Alexander and Spears tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2004 for 55 hours. They quickly had their union annulled. That same year, Spears married her backup dancer Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two sons. The two divorced in 2006. Brit is currently dating longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari.
