Britney Spears is finally free after father, Jamie Spears, has been ousted from her conservatorship.
The judge in the case ruled yesterday (Wednesday) that Jamie will no longer serve as the conservator of his daughter’s estate, immediately removing him from control of her finances.
A hearing was set for November 12th to determine whether the conservatorship will be ended entirely. The conservatorship has been in place for 13 years.
Britney’s attorney, Matthew Rosengart, said during the contentious court hearing, that Jamie Spears is “a cruel, toxic, abusive man.”
He said, “Britney deserves to wake up tomorrow without her father as her conservator."
He credited the FREE BRITNEY Movement for being instrumental in getting to this place.
Sources say the pop star broke down in tears after hearing the judge’s decision.
Later she tweeted, “On cloud 9 right now ...” .
Britney shared a video of herself flying a plane.
She captioned the video, “First time flying a plane and first time in a prop plane... Geez I was scared..."
