The CMA Awards have banned Morgan Wallen from attending despite him being nominated for the Album of the Year.
After the release of a video on February 2nd that showed the singer using a racial slur, he was banned from the radio and several awards shows.
In late May, the CMA Awards announced that they would allow Wallen to be eligible in categories that honor artistic works… and his album “Dangerous: The Double Album” was nominated for the Album of the Year.
Despite his nomination, the CMA Awards will not allow Wallen to attend, perform or accept an award at the show, including not walking the red carpet.
