R Kelly was placed on suicide watch after being convicted of sex trafficking charges in New York.
The singer’s lawyer revealed he was on suicide watch until recently as he awaits his sentencing on May 4th.
The news comes asa federal judge ordered Kelly to stand trial in Chicago on child pornography and obstruction of justice charges on August of next year.
