Kylie Jenner is once again being accused of “blackfishing” after posting videos of her looking tanner than normal in recent Instagram Stories.
Jenner posted a selfie video of herself Sunday which featured a noticeably darker skin tone.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star received major backlash from fans claiming she was blackfishing — a modern term describing someone on social media who is pretending to be black by changing their appearance by using makeup, editing, or even surgery.
One user tweeted, “Clearly she’s trying to look black.”
Many fans also compared Kylie’s situation to the recent backlash former “Little Mix” singer Jesy Nelson faced from fans.
She was accused of blackfishing in her debut solo music video, “Boyz” featuring Nicki Minaj.
