A sequel to “Dune” is in the works.
The sci-fi film was released last week and took the top spot at the weekend box office taking in $40.1 million.
Yesterday, the production company behind the movie confirmed “Dune: Part Two” is officially in the works.
The movie is an adaptation of Frank Herbert's 1965 novel of the same name and is a reboot of the 1984 David Lynch film “Dune.”
