Kim Kardashian says there's no way to fix her marriage to Kanye West.
In new court documents, Kim's lawyer states thatKim "has no desire to reconcile" with Kanye, who has publicly stated that he wants to repair their relationship.
She states, "Irreconcilable differences have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage, and there is no possibility of saving the marriage through counseling or other means.The continued maintenance of technical marital status between [Kim] and [Ye] serves no useful purpose, and there is no reason to maintain the legal relationship."
According to the docs, Kim is asking the court to declare her legally single because Ye and his lawyers have "been non-responsive" to her attempts to "move this case forward to a speedy and amicable resolution."
The petition states that Kim will agree to "any conditions" that the court wishes to impose in order to divorce Ye.
Additionally, she requested to drop the surname West.
Kim is allegedly embarrassed by Kanye’s recent actions.
He publicly been pleading for Kardashian to come back – all while his new model girlfriend, Vinetria, continues to stay at his Malibu home.
A source says, “Kim is making a statement by doubling down that she’s single. She thinks it’s strange that Kanye keeps saying he wants her back, but all the while he’s got the [22-year-old] model at his Malibu house.”
