Ben Affleck looked back at the end of his relationship with Jennifer Garner saying he felt “trapped” in their marriage.
Ben said, “We had a marriage that didn't work… Part of why I was drinking alcohol is I was trapped. I can't leave because of my kids, I'm not happy, what do I do?
"I drank a bottle of scotch and fell asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution . . .We had a marriage that didn’t work. This happens. She’s somebody I love and respect, but to whom I shouldn’t be married any longer.”
Ben then opened up about his current relationship withJennifer Lopez saying he had concerns before dating her again especially since he’s a father this time.
Affleck added, “It crossed my mind for sure. My responsibility to my children is the highest responsibility I have. I don't want to do anything that is painful or destructive to them if I can help it.”
