Betty White died less than three weeks before her 100th birthday, and her official cause of death: "Natural causes."
Her agent, Jeff Witjas, said, “Betty died peacefully in her sleep at her home,” and he shot down rumors claiming Betty had just gotten her COVID booster shot on Dec. 28th, and that it played into her death. That’s just not true.
Her agent continued, “Her death should not be politicized — that is not the life she lived.”
In related Dirty: Betty’s “Mama’s Family” co-star Vicki Lawrence revealed her very last word: She called out her late husband Allen Ludden’s name in the moments before she died.
Vicki Lawrence explained that she texted the legendary Carol Burnett about their friend’s final moments, and CAROL was the one who wrote back and said she had spoken to Betty’s assistant, who was with her when she passed, and she said the very last word out of her mouth was ‘Allen.’
