During HBO Max‘s "Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts" special, a childhood photo of Emma Roberts was used instead of a photo of Hermione Granger herself, Emma Watson.
After a fan tweet pointing out the mistake went viral on Twitter, the producers promised to set things right. They said, “Well spotted Harry Potter fans! You brought an editing mistake of a mislabeled photograph to our attention. New version up shortly.”
"Return to Hogwarts" marked the 20th anniversary of the first Potter film, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone", reuniting the cast members for some magical nostalgia. The special also revealed some behind-the-scenes bombshells, fromWatson’s childhood crush on costar Tom Felton (who played Draco Malfoy)to the revelation that Watson considered quitting the franchise before the fifth movie.
"Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts" is now available on HBO Max.
