Justin Timberlake has put his return to music on hold.
While he has recently teased at collaborations with artists such asJustin Bieber on Instagram, all could be postponed after the release of a documentary from Janet Jackson.
Allegedly, Justin fears the documentary, which is set to release part one on January 28th, will cause chaos for his career.
The film, which has been five years in the making, will lift the lid on Jackson's career as well as feature the infamous "Nipplegate" controversy at the 2004 Super Bowl XXXVIII.
The incident marked the decline of Janet's career, whileJustin escape relatively unscathed as he pulled off a piece of her corset and exposed Janet on stage.
A source said: "To say that Justin and his team are worried about the documentary is an understatement.
"There was a major backlash against him last year after the Framing Britney Spears documentary was released and he was criticized for how he treated Britney when they split up in 2002."
In terms of new music the source added, "He has quietly been working on music but there is no chance he will be putting anything out any time soon with this hanging over his head."
