Lil Nas X is the subject of a new comic book hitting shelves this week.
TidalWave Comics announced the “Old Town Road” rapper is the latest face of its poplar “Fame” series, which celebrates the life and career achievements of pop icons.
The tale of Lil Nas X (whose given name is Montero Lamar Hill) is illustrated across 22 pages.
The title explores the 22-year-old superstar’s life story, from his childhood in the Atlanta area to becoming one of the most influential voices of his generation and provocative music acts of his time.
Scenes depicted in the collectible include Lil Nas X’s parents divorcing, his high school yearbook photo, and his discovery of social media, which eventually changed his life.
The “Fame” comic book series previously featured musical artists such as Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Madonna, David Bowie and Tina Turner.
“Fame: Lil Nas X” is available for sale in print on Amazon and also be downloaded on ComiXology, DriveThru Comics, Google Play, Overdrive, iTunes, Kindle, Biblioboard, Nook, Kobo and wherever eBooks are sold.
