Kylie Jenner admitted Tuesday that “postpartum has not been easy” just six weeks after she gave birth to her second child with Travis Scott.
The 24-year-old posted a series videos posted to her Instagram Stories. She began, “It’s very hard. This experience for me, personally, has been a little harder than with my daughter.”
She said this time around postpartum has been difficult on her “mentally, physically, [and] spiritually.”
Jenner said she wanted to speak out about her struggles because she understands how fellow moms could go on the internet and feel “pressure” to return to their normal lives.
She said, “It hasn’t been easy for me, either. It’s been hard, and I just wanted to say that so.”
The “Kardashians” star concluded her uplifting message by saying, “It’s OK not to be OK.”
Kylie said she had been putting pressure on herself, but just needed to reminder herself that she “made a whole human — a beautiful healthy boy.”
“We have to stop putting pressure on ourselves to be back, not just physically, mentally after birth. Just sending some love.”
