A$AP Rocky and Rihanna, who is pregnant with their baby, returned from Barbados, but A$AP was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon when they landed.
The rapper was booked for assault in connection with a November 6, 2021 shooting.
A$AP was taken away from the terminal in handcuffs after flying in from Barbados on a private jet. Officers later served a search warrant at his home, using a battering ram to get through the gates.
In a statement posted on Twitter, the LAPD said A$AP had been identified as the suspect in the November shooting. The statement said, ”An argument between two acquaintances occurred near Selma Avenue and Argyle Avenue in the Hollywood area. The argument escalated and resulted in one firing a handgun at the other. The victim sustained a minor injury and later sought medical treatment."
The victim told police that A$AP shot at him 3 or 4 times.
He left the Lost Angeles Police Department yesterday afternoon after posting $550,000 bail. He was surrounded by several officers before getting into an SUV.
