Gymnast Simone Biles said that a flight attendant mistook her for a child and even offered her a color book on a recent flight.
She opened up about the awkward encounter on Instagram Stories last week after becoming the youngest recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Biles was flying home to Texas after her visit to Washington, D.C. when she shared a photo of herself in apparent frustration. The caption read, “Not the flight attendant trying to give me a coloring book when I board... I said, ‘No, I'm good, I'm 25.’”
She added that another member of the crew gave her a mimosa, but Biles noted that she was asked if she was old enough to drink it when they brought it over.
Many people liked the tweet and couldn't believe the flight attendant didn't know who Biles was.
