Actress Anne Heche remains intubated and is being treated for burns she sustained in a fiery crash in Los Angeles Friday. She is in stable condition.
Police sources said that Anne was intoxicated and speeding when she crashed her Mini Cooper into a home, setting it on fire.
The LAFD said almost 60 firefighters took more than an hour to put out the fire and rescue the actress who was driving. She was able to speak to the first responders.
Heche was initially listed as critical condition and then she was upgraded to stable.
No other injuries were reported, although one person was home when Anne drove 30-feet into the two-story house, which has since been deemed unsafe to enter due to the fire and crash damage.
