Aaron Carter’s estate will reportedly be left in the hands of the State of California because the singer did not leave behind a will.
Carter was found dead in his bathtub at the age 34.
Sources say that he was advised by his lawyers to draw up a will following the birth of his son, Prince. However, he reportedly never got around to it.
Per California succession laws, Prince will likely inherit his Aaron’s estate because he was not married at the time of his death.
Aaron’s body was found surrounded by multiple cans of compressed air and prescription pill bottles. His official cause of death is yet to be revealed, pending toxicology results.
