Selena Gomez became the first woman last week to surpass 400 million followers on Instagram.
Less than a month ago, she passed Kylie Jenner as the most followed woman on the platform with 381 million followers.
Soccer star Cristiano Rinaldo is still the most followed person on Instagram with 562 million followers. Fellow soccer star, Lionel Messi is also ahead of Gomez with 442 million followers.
