A 21-year-old Traverse City man was arrested after he allegedly choked his mother following an argument over lyrics to a Justin Bieber song.
According to a report, the man and his 41-year-old mother were traveling in a car Saturday afternoon around 2:30 p.m. when one of Bieber's songs came on the radio.
The two began arguing about the lyrics and eventually, the woman pulled the car over and got into the backseat of the car. The man then began choking her before getting out of the vehicle, police said.
