Mojo was in a board meeting where the topic of discussion was safety in our children's schools. We felt the need to talk about the importance of our children being safe in school this morning. We can't even have everyday supplies for our children in some schools, but now we have to worry about putting in "safe rooms" just to prevent situations like the school shooting in Florida and that are happening all over the country. This is sad.
Recently, we had a situation where an 18-year-old east side student posted a photo on social media with a school shooting threat that he claimed was a "joke." This is not a funny situation anymore.
