Time Team Detroit volunteers will join "The Mojo in the Morning Show" and the Wish Upon A Teen organization for their annual event for teenagers with life threatening or chronic illness who don’t have the opportunity to take part in their traditional school prom experience.
Our goal is to provide them with the traditional life milestone they would unfortunately miss out on due to hospitalizations, surgeries, medical treatments or other complications from illness. The teens will be pampered prior to prom, and receive professional beauty/makeup applications and also have the opportunity to choose their special outfits.
Last year, Wish Upon a Teen hosted more than 140 teenagers and their dates for a glamorous prom experience, and we're hoping this year will be even BIGGER!
