We want to thank our Time Team Detroit volunteers that joined us on Saturday, May 19 at Mojo's Wish Upon A Prom at Emagine Theatres. This night was about the kids. Many of the teenagers face life threatening or chronic illnesses and will never have the opportunity to take part in their traditional school prom experience. This is why we teamed up with Wish Upon a Teen to bring a prom to them.
Our goal was to provide them with the traditional life milestone they would unfortunately miss out on due to hospitalizations, surgeries, medical treatments or other complications from illnesses. The teens were pampered prior to prom, and received professional beauty/makeup applications and also had the opportunity to choose their special outfits.
We hosted more than 150 teenagers and their dates for a glamorous prom experience.
