You Can't Hold Parking Spots

Lucy and Shannon went out to grab Starbucks the other morning, and there were no parking spaces anywhere.  They finally found one, and there was a lady standing in the middle of it (which she noticed once she started to turn in).  She held up her hand for Shannon to stop, and told her she was saving it for her friend.  YOU CAN'T DO THAT!  Especially not at a busy time on a busy street!  The craziest part - Lucy and her found another spot, got their coffee, walked back to our car, and she was STILL there waiting and her "friend" hadn't even shown up yet.
