John Legend is not the favorite parent among his and wife Chrissy Teigen's four kids, but one child has reserved a special place in their heart for their dad.

The "All Of Me" hitmaker recently sat down with People to discuss his newly-released children's album, My Favorite Dream, and how his family inspired him to create the masterpiece (despite not being the "favorite" parent).

"Chrissy's everyone's favorite I think, except I might have Esti."

Legend shares Luna, 8, Esti, 19 months, Miles, 6, and Wren, 14 months with with Teigen, and believes that only one of his four kids prefers to spend time with him over their mother.

"I think because she's at this space where she sees me leave now, and when I come back home, she's super clingy and she literally just wants to hug my leg and make sure I don't leave her. So I think because I leave more, she's more attached to me when I come home. I have one out of four."

Despite Esti putting her dad on a pedestal, Legend candidly told People that neither she, nor her three siblings, are allowed in Legend and Teigan's bedroom at any point during the night.

"I started locking the door. Their big thing is they want to knock on our door and come sleep with us. I'm like, 'Y'all are not coming in our bed every time you have a little disturbance. Go back to sleep."

The "Ordinary People" standout shared a carousel of adorable family photos to Instagram upon releasing his children's album on Friday (August 30), doting on his favorite people as they continue to evolve through life together.

"It’s finally release day for My Favorite Dream! This album has been a true labor of love. It’s completely inspired by my wife and our babies, the family tree we’re all a part of and are continuing to grow."
