This morning, we tried to figure out which age is considered acceptable to start leaving your children home alone. A lot of listeners called in and had different opinions on this topic... Some listeners said kids are good to be home alone at the age of 10 years old. Others felt like kids should be at least 16 years old, so they can drive if there's an emergency. Overall, it seems like 12 years old is the age for most parents to feel comfortable enough to leave their kids at home.
